A taxi from Stansted Airport to Liverpool Street costs £87 in a saloon car, and £96 to Oxford Circus. Every fare on this page is a fixed one-way price taken from our booking system. A 5am pickup costs the same as a 2pm one, and the price you book is the price you pay.
The tables below cover the routes people book most for a Stansted airport taxi, for each type of car. For any other address, the booking form at the top of the page gives you an exact price before you commit to anything.

Liverpool Street and Oxford Circus are almost the same distance from the airport, yet the West End costs £9 more. Our fares are worked out from both distance and driving time, and the last few miles across the centre to Oxford Circus take around 20 minutes longer. Canary Wharf is the cheapest London drop-off on the list because it is the shortest drive of the four.
Our Stansted to central London taxi page covers that journey in more detail. If you are heading somewhere else in London, put the full address or postcode into the booking form. West End hotels should price close to Oxford Circus, and addresses in the City close to Liverpool Street.

| Milton Keynes | 74 miles | 80 min | £124 | £159 |
| Woking | 82 miles | 96 min | £137 | £177 |

Which car to choose
| Car | Passengers | Suitcases |
|---|---|---|
| Saloon | 4 | 2 |
| Estate | 4 | 4 |
| Executive | 3 | 2 |
| MPV | 6 | 4 |
| 8-seater | 8 | 8 |
| Executive minivan | 8 | 8 |
Two things in these numbers are worth knowing before you book.
First, a saloon takes four people but only two large cases. A couple with two cases each, or a family of four coming back from a fortnight away, needs the estate. On the Liverpool Street run that is £8 more than the saloon, which is far cheaper than finding the boot will not close at the kerb.
Second, the MPV and the 8-seater cost exactly the same on every route. If you are a group of five or six with plenty of luggage, choose the 8-seater: you pay nothing extra and get double the suitcase space.
For groups, the per-person cost drops quickly. Six people sharing an MPV from Stansted to Liverpool Street pay £112 in total, under £19 each, door to door.
What to expect
- A fixed price. There is no early-morning, late-night or weekend premium.
- Child seats. £10 per seat; add them in the notes when booking.
- Return journeys. Book the return at the same time and the total is reduced by 5%.
- Meeting you. Your driver meets you inside the arrivals hall. Add meet and greet for £10 and they will be waiting with a name board.
- Waiting time. We track your flight, so a delayed landing moves your pickup with it, and the first 60 minutes after the flight lands are free. That covers passport control and baggage reclaim on most arrivals. For a pickup from your home, the driver waits 5 minutes free.
- Airport drop-off charges included. Stansted charges vehicles £10 to use the Express Set Down area for up to 15 minutes and £28 beyond that. That cost is already in our fare; you pay nothing extra (Stansted Airport, March 2026).
