Fares are the same day or night, with no surge pricing. If you’re travelling from a London hotel, enter its address for an exact price.

Straight from the Airport

Lots of families land in the morning and go straight to the tour, so they don’t lose a day. Heathrow and Luton are both well under an hour away. Your driver meets you inside the arrivals hall, and we track your flight, so a late landing doesn’t mean a missed pickup. You get 60 minutes of free waiting from when the flight lands.

Your tickets are for a timed entry slot. When you book the taxi, leave plenty of time between landing and your slot for passport control, baggage and the drive. If your flight runs very late, check your ticket terms with the studio.

Book a Return for After the Tour

The studio is on the edge of Watford, and getting back by public transport means a shuttle bus to Watford Junction and then a train. With a return booking, we pick you up from the studio at a time you choose. Booking both legs together saves 5%. Most visitors spend several hours inside, so set the return pickup time with a margin. Your driver waits 5 minutes free at the pickup point. If your plans change, call us and we’ll move the time where we can.

Families and Groups

A saloon takes four passengers and two suitcases, and an estate takes four with four cases. For bigger families or two families together, the 8-seater carries eight people and eight cases. From Heathrow it’s £77.81, so it works out at under £10 each when it’s full. Child seats are £10 each. Add them when you book so the right seat is fitted before pickup.

Combining the Tour with Your Trip

The studio sits between Heathrow and Luton, so it fits easily into an arrival or departure day. You can do the tour on the way into London, or on your last day before a flight, with your luggage in the car. Tell us about the stop when you book, and we’ll quote the full journey. For other routes, see Luton airport transfers, Heathrow airport transfers and London airport taxi transfers. If Windsor Castle is also on your list, there’s Heathrow to Windsor.

Return Fares from the Studio

For the journey back after your tour, these fares were quoted from our online booker on 29 October 2026:

Studio Tour to Saloon Estate 8-seater Typical drive
Luton Airport £54.88 £61.19 £71.43 About 26 min
Heathrow (Terminal 5) £57.63 £64.21 £75.05 About 27 min
King’s Cross £68.69 £75.29 £88.35 About 49 min

The drive times are midday estimates from the booker. Early evening traffic on the M25 and into London is usually heavier, so allow extra time if you have a train or flight to catch.

Other Pickup Points

We collect from anywhere, not just the airports. Some other fares to the studio, quoted on 29 October 2026:

From Saloon 8-seater
Watford Junction station £38.98 £51.09
Heathrow (Terminal 2) £61.14 £79.42
South Kensington £78.84 £101.70
Westminster £86.10 £110.43
Oxford station £101.13 £130.33

Pickups from west and central London hotels cost more than King’s Cross because the route out of town is longer. Enter your hotel address in the booking form for the exact fare.

Arriving by Train at Watford Junction

If you’re coming by rail, Watford Junction is the nearest main station, around 3 miles from the studio. A saloon from the station costs £38.98, and the 8-seater £51.09, which is useful for a big family that doesn’t want to queue for the shuttle bus. Give us your train time and the station entrance you’ll use, and your driver will be waiting.

What a Day Trip Costs: Two Examples

These use the fares above for a saloon carrying up to four people.

  • Heathrow to the studio, then into London: £59.88 from Terminal 5 to the studio, then £68.69 from the studio to King’s Cross. That’s £128.57 for the day, or about £32 each for four people, with your luggage in the car between airport and hotel.
  • Return trip from Luton Airport: £54.53 there and £54.88 back. Booked together, the 5% return discount brings it to about £103.94.

For a group of eight, the 8-seater from Heathrow costs £77.81, and the return to Heathrow is £75.05.

Luggage and Timing

If you’re going straight from a flight, check the studio’s current bag rules before you travel, as large cases may not be allowed inside the tour. A simple option is to go to your hotel first, or to plan the tour for a day when you’re not carrying everything. When choosing your pickup time, add up your landing time, at least an hour for passport control and bags at Heathrow, and the drive. Then compare that with your entry slot.

For the return, we don’t wait at the studio for the whole visit. Book a return pickup at the time you expect to finish, and call us if you’re running late.

Doing the Tour on Your Way to a Flight

Because the studio is so close to Heathrow and Luton, some visitors book it for their last day and fly home that evening. On the booker’s midday estimates, it’s about 26 minutes from the studio to Luton and 27 minutes to Heathrow Terminal 5. Those times grow at busy periods, especially on the M25 towards Heathrow in the late afternoon.

A practical way to plan it:

  1. Work back from your flight. Aim to reach the airport at least two hours before a European flight, or three hours before a long-haul one.
  2. Allow an hour for the drive, so there’s room for traffic.
  3. Book your studio entry slot so that you finish before that pickup time, with a margin.

The same driver can collect you from your hotel in the morning and take you to the studio, and a second booking takes you to the airport afterwards. Booking the journeys together lets you check all the fares before you travel.

Child Seats and Accessibility

Child seats are £10 each, and you can add them to your booking. Tell us your children’s ages so we fit the right seats before the pickup. If anyone in your group needs extra help getting in and out of the car, or uses a wheelchair, call us before booking so we can confirm a suitable vehicle.
